Fine & Country hosts intense three-day bootcamp

Jon Handford, Director at Fine & Country UK

Premium estate agent, Fine & Country will be hosting a three-day intensive estate agency bootcamp for agents within the network who want to take their business to the next level. Starting on Monday, 10 October, the bootcamp will run until Wednesday, 12 October, and will be hosted at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club. The bootcamp will be presented by experienced international speaker, coach, trainer and estate agent, Jon Handford, Director of Fine & Country UK.

Committed to the upper quartile of the market focussing on luxury property, Handford was recognised in 2019 as the Best Overall Operator from 325 Fine & Country offices across the world. As the Managing Director of Fine & Country Leamington Spa, Handford is well versed with both the brand and with what agents require to be a success within the premium property market. His years of experience working within the luxury property market and running a successful business has provided him with a wealth of knowledge that he can offer agents.

“I have been fortunate to have been working with Fine & Country within the premium sector of the market for over 16 years. The partnership with the brand has been a huge contributing factor to my success within the sector, and I am hoping that this training will help other agents to find their own success within the luxury market,” says Handford. “This course will assist agents within the network to maximise the opportunities in their marketplace by using a proven strategy, and the power of the global network and brand.”

According to Handford, some of the best agents within the group have attended this training in the past and have applied the content to their working practices. As a result, they are winning more listings and commanding and justifying a 2.5%+ VAT fee. “In addition to receiving a higher fee per instruction, agents who have attended the training are also securing a minimum upfront marketing contribution of £1,000+VAT, generating market appraisals, selling properties faster and achieving better prices for their sellers, building world class marketing campaigns for their properties, converting unsellable stock to attractive listings, understanding property values and how to pitch and set the best asking price and creating competition amongst potential buyers,” he adds.

According to Handford the course is solely focused on Fine & Country and covers all aspects that agents would need to prosper within the premium property market, looking at topics such as estate agency law, team rules, business planning, qualification and basic skills, viewings, offers and sales, conveyancing, prospecting, market appraisals, listings and instructions and marketing reviews. “Each delegate will also receive a booklet on identifying, articulating, and describing property features in the UK. There will also be a manual with supporting notes of everything discussed,” Handford concludes.
