Fine & Country Foundation donates £1,500 to Street Vet in support of homeless pet care

This festive season, Fine & Country Central Lincolnshire and Grantham proudly announce donation of £1,500 to Street Vet.

This festive season, Fine & Country Central Lincolnshire and Grantham proudly announce a generous donation of £1,500 to Street Vet, an award-winning registered charity dedicated to providing free accessible veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness.

The donation, presented by Rebecca Brouwer, Fine & Country Central Lincolnshire and Grantham, along with the dedicated team, aims to support the charity in their mission to offer completely free veterinary treatment to pets in 17 outreach locations across the UK, including Lincoln.

Street Vet, an organisation that recognises the profound bond between people experiencing homelessness and their pets, is committed to keeping these animals healthy, happy, and together with their owners whenever possible. With one in four homeless individuals having a pet, Street Vet’s hundreds of volunteer vets and nurses have traded the traditional practice setting for the pavements, ensuring that the pets of those in need receive the care they deserve.

Rebecca Brouwer shared, “We are delighted to contribute £1,500 to Street Vet, an incredible charity that aligns with our values of compassion and community support. We understand the significant role pets play in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, and we are proud to be part of an initiative that keeps these cherished bonds intact.”

The cheque was handed over to Street Vet’s Head of Fundraising, Charlotte Fionda, who visited the Fine & Country Central Lincolnshire and Grantham office. The team, including their office dog Captain, had the opportunity to meet with Charlotte and learn more about Street Vet’s impactful work.

Street Vet operates in 17 locations across the UK, offering vital veterinary care services to homeless individuals and their pets. This donation from Fine & Country Central Lincolnshire and Grantham will contribute to ensuring that Street Vet can continue its essential outreach and support during the holiday season and beyond.
