Annual Carols by Candlelight Concert to illuminate Cambridge this holiday season

The Fine & Country Foundation announces return of the highly anticipated annual Carols by Candlelight Concert at King’s College Cambridge.

The Fine & Country Foundation is delighted to announce the return of the highly anticipated annual Carols by Candlelight Concert in collaboration with King’s College Cambridge. Taking place on Sunday, 3rd December, this enchanting event promises to usher in the holiday season in style and bring the community together in support of a crucial cause. The Carols by Candlelight Concert is a cherished tradition that captivates the hearts of Cambridge residents and visitors alike. Set within the historic and breathtaking surroundings of King’s College Cambridge, this iconic landmark provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of festive celebration and charitable giving.

Last year’s event was a resounding success, raising over £17,000 in support of homeless charities that provide vital services to those in need across the Cambridgeshire region. With over 500 attendees, including Fine & Country employees, clientele, local residents, and students’ families from King’s College, the event truly embodied the spirit of giving and unity.

Once again, the proceeds from this year’s Carols by Candlelight Concert will be distributed among four deserving charities: Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians. These organisations are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of homeless individuals in the region.

Attendees will be treated to the enchanting melodies of the King’s Voices, the mixed choir of King’s College, founded in October 1997 under the direction of Dr. John Butt. Their angelic voices will fill the historic halls of King’s College and create an atmosphere of joy and unity for all in attendance.

Jon Cooke, Trustee of the Fine & Country Foundation, emphasised the impact of this annual event: “Through the support of the Fine & Country network and the public, The Foundation has been able to have a positive impact on many people’s lives around the globe. The annual carol concert has been a massive contributor towards the money The Foundation has raised over the years and has helped support many charities and non-profit organisations in the work they are doing in their communities.”

The Carols by Candlelight Concert will commence at 5 pm, followed by a delightful reception with mulled wine and mince pies for VIP guests. As mentioned, all of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the four charities through The Foundation, furthering their mission to combat homelessness and poverty.

Tickets for this magical and unforgettable event are available now, and we encourage everyone to join us with their loved ones for an evening of heartwarming carols, goodwill, and charitable giving. Let’s come together to make a difference this festive season.
